population

more than 6.5 billion population is still a major problem in the world. BUT, i think the situation will be better in the future, because, we can see in some countries, people began to realise that the population growth is a big problems. moreover, there are lots of strategies done in the government or people. people in the developing countries get better education, their position chenged. we can see in most of countries, the fertility rate decrease rapidly. in other words, the poor situation become better now. even if the world population is still growth, but comepare with the populaion booming many years ago. now is much better..better

you are right nowadays our situation is better than the past and the poor nations are getting better but that does not mean that increasing the population is fine and has no negative side. Increasing the population means producing more food, using more resources, causing more polution and more.....

I can not argue with you that population growth will be big issue next years. Because as you said, people become more aware about this issue and consequences of it. However, I don’t think that governments in poor countries make a lot of efforts to increase the quality of their inhabitants’ lives such as educations or health care and decrease the population growth. I think all improvement of poor countries come from individual efforts which lead to decrease the population growth in some of these nations.
